Research use and legality
It means the material is a chemical reagent supplied for controlled laboratory experiments carried out outside a living body — receptor assays, cell culture work, analytical method development, use as a reference standard. It is not a medicine, supplement, cosmetic or food, it has not been approved by any regulator for use in humans or animals, and it must never be administered to either.
No. We supply qualified researchers and research organisations. You must confirm your researcher status and accept the research-use declarations before an order can be placed, and we may contact you about an order before dispatching it. Orders that read as personal use are cancelled and refunded.
Because a single checkbox buried in terms and conditions is not a meaningful control. Confirmation is requested on site entry, when each item is added, on your order summary, and as a seven-part declaration at checkout. Each is deliberate friction, and each is retained with your order record.
That depends entirely on where you are and what you intend to do. Regulation of research chemicals varies significantly between countries, and some compounds we list correspond to approved or investigational medicines in certain jurisdictions. Confirming that receipt and research use is lawful where you are — and that you hold any licence or institutional approval required — is your responsibility. We cannot advise on it.
No. We do not provide dosing, administration, injection, reconstitution-for-administration or protocol guidance under any circumstances, however the question is framed. Asking is itself an indicator of intended human use and will normally result in your order being cancelled.
Products and analysis
Yes, and we would prefer you did. Email us the product name and we will send the CoA for the lot currently in stock. It records the lot number, HPLC purity with chromatogram, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, appearance, storage conditions and date of analysis.
They are standard literature reference values, which is why each specification table says so. The authoritative figures for material you receive are those on that lot's Certificate of Analysis, measured on that lot.
Most peptides are specified at ≥99% by HPLC; some larger or more complex sequences are specified at ≥98%. The specification for each product is shown on its page and confirmed on the lot CoA.
No. Our peptides are research grade. They are not manufactured under GMP, are not sterile, and are not tested for endotoxin unless separately specified. They are appropriate for laboratory research and are not appropriate — or safe — for any use in a human or animal.
Yes, for research institutions and commercial laboratories. Send the sequence, required scale, purity specification and any modifications such as acetylation, amidation or conjugation, and we will return a quotation and lead time.
Product photography is in preparation. Rather than use stock images of somebody else's vials, product pages currently show a generated rendering that reflects the research-use labelling applied to every vial we dispatch.
Handling and storage
Transfer lyophilised peptides to -20 °C storage promptly, protected from light and moisture. Allow a sealed vial to reach room temperature before opening so that condensation does not settle onto the lyophilised cake.
Almost certainly not. Lyophilised peptides are considerably more stable than solutions and tolerate short periods at ambient temperature in transit without loss of specification. If you have a concern, contact us with your order reference and we will review the transit record with you.
That depends on the peptide, the solvent, the concentration and your storage conditions, so it is something your laboratory should validate rather than something we can state generally. Solutions are always less stable than the lyophilised solid.
Through your institution's chemical waste stream, in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of research materials in general waste or to drain.
Orders, shipping and returns
Orders are usually dispatched within one to three business days of payment clearing. Orders paid late in the week may be held until the following week so material is not sitting in a carrier network over a weekend.
Not at checkout. Once your order is placed you receive a payment request by email including final shipping costs. If we cancel the order, nothing is charged.
To many countries, but not all. Some destinations are excluded because of import restrictions, sanctions or export controls, or because reliable cold-chain transit is not available. If we cannot ship to you we will tell you and refund in full. Customs duties and import charges are payable by you.
No. We declare shipments accurately and completely. Requests to undervalue, mislabel or disguise a shipment are refused and the order is cancelled.
Generally no. Once material leaves our custody we cannot verify its storage history, so we cannot restock or resell it. We do refund or replace where material fails its Certificate of Analysis specification, where the wrong item was sent, or where a shipment arrives damaged — reported within seven days.

They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. They have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA, MHRA, EMA or any other regulatory authority for the diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of any disease. They must not be administered to humans or animals under any circumstance, and must not be resold, relabelled or repackaged for such use.
