Confirms the material is the sequence ordered. Purity without identity confirmation tells you only that a substance is pure, not which substance it is.

Detects moisture ingress, discolouration and incomplete lyophilisation before a lot is released.
Net peptide content

Lyophilised peptides contain counter-ions and residual water. Net content matters when you are calculating molar concentrations.

Every CoA records the lot number, date of analysis, the testing laboratory, the HPLC chromatogram and purity figure, the mass spectrometry result against theoretical mass, appearance, and storage conditions.
Cold chain
Lyophilised material is held at -20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Orders ship in insulated packaging with phase-change coolant sized to the transit time. Lyophilised peptides tolerate brief ambient exposure in transit without loss of specification.
Lot traceability
Every vial carries its lot number. Synthesis records, analytical data and release decisions are retained for five years, so a result obtained today can be traced back to the material that produced it.
